Breakfast Menu

We offer an extensive breakfast menu using local and homemade produce where possible.

Monday - Saturday 8-9 am, Sunday 8.30-9.30 am

These items will be laid out in the dining room for you to choose as much as you like:

Freshly squeezed and prepared Fruit Smoothie.

Cereals – Cornflakes, Rice Crispies, Muesli, All Bran, Fruit ‘n’ Fibre, Weetabix, Chocobix and Crunchy Nut Cornflakes.

Accompaniments – Apricots, Goji Berries, Mixed Nuts and Raisins, Stoned Dates, Figs, Sunflower Seeds, Banana Chips and Papaya.

Natural Yoghurt, Prunes in Juice, Grapefruit Segments.

Cafetiere Coffee and a large selection of speciality teas along with toasted breads.

MAIN DISHES

Ardtorna Speciality
Poached eggs on a bed of streaky bacon with grilled halloumi cheese and a sprinkling of capers and lemon.

Eggs pesto style
Fluffy scrambled eggs with a hint of pesto on a lightly toasted muffin.

Smoked salmon bagel platter
An open bagel topped with lashings of creamy Philadelphia and whirls of our local smoked salmon with freshly milled black pepper and lemon wedges.

Boiled eggs with Soldiers
Two boiled eggs cooked to your requirements served with either asparagus tips or soldiers.

Scottish oatcakes with smoked salmon  scramble
Creamy scrambled eggs topped with shavings of smoked salmon and accompanied with Scottish oatcakes.

Scottish platter
Our traditional breakfast consisting of sausages, bacon, egg, tomato, black pudding, haggis and tattie scones.

Sweet Pancake Platter
Homemade pancakes with warmed caramelised cinnamon apples and locally sourced smoked bacon.

Savoury Pancake Platter
Homemade pancakes, smoked salmon with horseradish creme fraiche.
